The Manhandle is a heavy-duty screw-on handle that gives you a strong grip on any wood surface in seconds. It can be used to:
Manually move large wood objects like CLT panels and Glulam beams
Avoid dangerous pinch points in timber fabrication and construction
Steady yourself and gain leverage in low-traction environments
Quickly install taglines to maintain control of suspended loads*
It's a spud wrench for timber.
Every Manhandle comes standard with a bit and screw: 4" T40 star-drive bit and 5/16" x 3" Spax Powerlag structural wood screw. No pre-drilling required. All you need to install the handle is a 1/4" electric drill or driver.
The Manhandle is designed for one hand's worth of human force applied to the grip, to make typical manual movements and adjustments of large wood pieces safer and more effective. These tasks are dangerous, please be careful. Additionally:
*Do not use the Manhandle as a lifting attachment point for cranes, telehandlers, winches, levers or any other powered or mechanical devices
Do not use fasteners other than specified
Do not use the Manhandle as a fall-arrest anchor point
Do not use the Manhandle for overhead lifting of any kind
Do not use the Manhandle for climbing
